The Following Photo's Were Sent In By Bettie Grinnell - Secretary To The Principal of Galileo Academy of Science & Technology - Photos taken by Fred Setting - Class of 1950
Ribbon cutting ceremony--Lions are on either side of the doors, not visible in this photo.
Former Superintendent Gwen Chan is also in the photo--a former Galileo teacher.
Young Fan Dancers I spoke about. Also the palm tree and the first floor windows Fred Setting (class of 1950) mentioned and I cited in my first email tonight.
Stanton Tong in the foreground. Guy with two little girls in pink is our Wrestling Coach.
Lion statues are behind these folks on the side of the steps. The Lion dancers were sensational.
Bruce Ng, PTSA hard worker, installed all the tiles, MC for the event being photographed with our young AP Nancy Lambert. She has also been track and cross country coach for Galileo.
Lions in the crowd. The White Haired guy in the background is my hubby. Bruce Ng's wife, Jeannie thought he was an alum and wanted to give him a name tag. He told her his name and just said to add "Bettie's husband" where the "Class of" should be.
