Everyone had a good time, the weather cooperated with a mild 88 degrees at the game.
The only bad thing about this trip was that the 49er football team did not show up, it seemed like there was another team (Pop Warner ?) playing instead of the professional San Francisco 49ers . I think we all know the final score of this game ( 16 to 13 Arizona Cardinals winners in OT).
Some of the group on Saturday went sightseeing in Sedona, Az. Others went on a tour around Scottsdale and some went to Old Town in Scottsdale. In the evening, The DiBasilio's, the Devita's , Kay Michelis & her daughter Lisa, the Cozzarin's and the Butticci's went out to a dinner house, while the Chiarenza's, the Melcher's, the Spadaro's and The Dittman's went to an Indian Casino and saw a great show called "The Legends" impersonators of Elvis, Maddona, Michael Jackson and the Temptations. A 10 passenger stretch Limo picked the group up at 8:00pm and drove us to the Casino and then at 11:00pm returned the group back to the Chaparrall Suites, all this without any cost except for a gratuity for the driver and a drink at the show & gambling we were able to do in such a short stay. Sunday was game day, our seats were not in the best viewing section of the stadium, but we were in the shade during the entire game and this was comfortable for most of us. After the game we all went back to the Chaparrall Suites and enjoyed the hotels 2 hour complimentary cocktails.
The hotel accomodates their guest with complimentary breakfast each morning & 2 hour evening cocktails .
The group is looking forward in returning for the Giants Spring Training event in March 2004 .
